Whiplash is one of the most common injuries that result from rear-end collisions. In a rear-end collision the body is suddenly thrust forward, then back. This can result in micro-tears in the soft tissues of the neck and middle of the back. Whiplash can result in severe discomfort in the neck and upper back. It can also cause headaches, dizziness, stiffness and tenderness.

Patients always want to know if the insurance company will cover treatment for their injuries. We work with a number of different insurance companies. We can walk you through filing a personal injury claim and help you fill out the appropriate forms. If your injury is due to an accident, you will not pay for any of your chiropractic care visits. We bill your insurance company directly. We also have two personal injury specialists onboard—Carolan Halpin and Kristina Stockton. Because whiplash is the most common injury related to an auto accident, we are often asked about treatments for neck discomfort and headaches. Patients almost always want to know if their injuries will be covered by insurance and if they will have any associated costs.

When you come to our office because of injuries due to an accident, we will use diagnostic tools, including onsite x-rays and exam, to determine the extent and severity of your injuries. Based on our findings, we will tailor an individualized treatment and recovery plan designed to minimize discomfort and accelerate your healing process.

Your treatments will be based on our findings during the initial examination. The primary goals are to return you to pre-accident health and to make sure you can move without discomfort or limitation.

Our staff will walk you through filing a PI claim and help you fill out the appropriate forms. If your injury is due to an accident, you will not pay for any of your chiropractic care visits. We bill the auto insurance company that’s held responsible for the claims directly. Our office has a PI Liaison onboard—Carolan Carter comes with years of experience working on behalf of the patient with the PI Attorneys and Insurance Agents.
