Pregnancy Care
A Gentle, Supportive Approach for Comfort and Mobility
As your body changes during pregnancy, your spine naturally adapts to accommodate the growing abdomen. These changes can affect posture and the way your spine moves. The inward curve of the spine, sometimes called the “lordotic curve,” may become more pronounced, which can influence overall spinal movement. Changes in flexibility, combined with shifts in core strength, can make maintaining comfort and balance more challenging during pregnancy.

Is Seeing a Chiropractor Safe During Pregnancy?
Chiropractors receive specialized training to address the unique needs of pregnant individuals. Care is tailored to each person, taking into account their body, stage of pregnancy, and comfort. During your first visit, you’ll complete a health questionnaire to help our team understand your needs. Special pillows and tables are used to ensure a comfortable and supportive experience during your session. Because joints and ligaments are naturally more flexible during pregnancy, our practitioners use gentle techniques to accommodate these changes.
Certain chiropractic techniques, such as the Webster technique, are sometimes used to support pelvic alignment during pregnancy. These approaches aim to provide gentle, non-invasive support and are one part of a broader wellness plan. Individuals should always consult with their healthcare provider before pursuing any pregnancy-related chiropractic care to determine what is appropriate for their unique circumstances.
Potential Benefits of Chiropractic Care During Pregnancy

We Accept Insurance
Patients always want to know if the insurance company will cover treatment for their injuries. We work with a number of different insurance companies. Our staff will walk you through filing a PI claim and help you fill out the appropriate forms. If your injury is due to an accident, you will not pay for any of your chiropractic care visits. We bill the auto insurance company that’s held responsible for the claims directly. Our office has a PI Liaison onboard—Carolan Carter comes with years of experience working on behalf of the patient with the PI Attorneys and Insurance Agents.

If you need a lawyer, we’re here to help. Ask us for a lawyer referral.
